The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is pleased to present this trial issue of Cancer Survivorship, a new, bimonthly newsletter for survivors of cancer. ASCO is the leading professional organization representing nearly 40,000 physicians who care for people with cancer. This newsletter, Cancer Survivorship, builds on ASCO's expertise in providing trusted and reliable educational resources for patients.
ASCO recognizes that every individual's experience with having cancer is unique, and definitions of survivorship may vary. For the purpose of this newsletter, ASCO defines survivorship as the period from diagnosis through active treatment and beyond. For this trial issue of Cancer Survivorship, the focus is colorectal cancer, with current and trusted information about issues relevant to surviving colorectal cancer. Written in non-medical language, the newsletter aims to help survivors of colorectal cancer manage their health and wellness needs from diagnosis through long-term survivorship.
Based on subscriber interest, four variations of Cancer Survivorship will be available, with each one specific to a particular type of cancer, including breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and hematologic cancers. The newsletter will be available both in print and electronically for a special introductory rate of $15.95. If you would like to receive your first issue for free, please complete the the form below.
